Last Updated: 1 August 2026
1. Platform Role
MAYBE FC provides a platform for users to discover and organize football matches. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MAYBE FC does not own or operate the venue, provide medical supervision, act as referee, or guarantee match safety.
2. Physical Activity Risk
Football involves exertion, contact, falls, collisions, weather exposure, and other risks. Injuries can occur even with reasonable precautions. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to participate.
3. Before Playing
Assess your fitness, warm up appropriately, use suitable equipment, follow venue rules, follow reasonable host/referee instructions, and communicate relevant safety limitations where necessary.
4. Venue and Conditions
Hosts should provide accurate venue information and communicate significant changes. Participants should consider weather, playing surface, lighting, crowding, equipment, and venue rules. MAYBE FC does not independently certify a venue.
5. Injuries and Emergencies
For an injury or emergency, stop play where appropriate, seek venue/host assistance, and contact local emergency services when necessary. MAYBE FC is not an emergency-response or medical service.
6. Alcohol and Drugs
Do not participate while intoxicated or impaired. Hosts may refuse participation where someone presents a reasonable safety risk.
7. Respectful Play
Aggressive, violent, threatening, or deliberately dangerous conduct is prohibited.
8. Host Responsibility
Hosts should provide accurate details, choose a suitable venue, communicate changes/cancellation, follow venue rules, manage players honestly, and record Played/No-show status in good faith.
9. Platform Disclaimer
MAYBE FC does not guarantee that a match will occur, a venue will remain available, a particular player will attend, a match will be injury-free, or participants will behave appropriately.
10. Non-Excludable Rights
Nothing in these rules excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
